- The personal development of pupils is exceptionally well provided for because of the very strong emphasis on the values of the school, embedded across all aspects of the curriculum. The daily act of worship is partly led by pupils and means they have a deep sense of spirituality, and the sense of being part of a positive community is clear. The acts of worship seen were outstanding.

Welcome back to an exciting term two!
I hope everyone had an exciting mid term break, it has been great to hear from the children about the many things they have been up to.
All of the children have returned this term looking smart and ready for another term of exciting learning opportunities.
Throughout last term the whole school was working hard on our ‘Fortnightly focus’ which changed throughout the term. Each fortnight we have a different focus that we work hard to achieve. Last term we spent some time focussing on our Christian values of Respect, Honesty and Love which was a real joy to see. Our current focus for the fortnight is manners, where we will be looking to see that everyone in our community is remembering to say thank you, sorry and please.
Term one was certainly a busy one and was a great way to start off the school year. A huge amount of charity work took place along with fantastic learning across the school. It was a real pleasure to look through children’s books and the fantastic learning on display. Last term also saw our 150th year celebration event which was a great success. We have had lots of balloon tags returned – some from as far away as Switzerland! There will be further information regarding the balloon race in the newsletter and on display in the school.
When you are next in school please pop into the school hall to look at our fabulous stained glass window! Our new feature was designed and painted by pupils and staff from our school along with help from St George’s students and staff.
My heartfelt thanks go to all staff (past and present), children and parents who made it such a special day for our school.
I have loved seeing and hearing about all of the memorable experiences and WOW days that teachers have planned to engage the children into their new topic – I’m really looking forward to seeing the outcomes of the children’s hard work as the term continues.
Term two is an extremely busy term with Christmas on the way and all the festivities and trips that take place throughout the next 7 weeks. I will be in touch very shortly with some key dates for this term.
Here’s to another spectacular term of learning and fun at Holy Trinity.

Stay Safe on the Internet
Internet safety is very important to us as a school. The CEOP button above enables children and young people on this site to report suspicious individuals or behavior directly to law enforcement quickly and easily. Please use this if you are concerned about anything you see on this site, as well as informing the school, thank you.
