  • The personal development of pupils is exceptionally well provided for because of the very strong emphasis on the values of the school, embedded across all aspects of the curriculum. The daily act of worship is partly led by pupils and means they have a deep sense of spirituality, and the sense of being part of a positive community is clear. The acts of worship seen were outstanding.Ofsted Report

Termly Welcome

Hello everyone, a very Happy New Year to you all, we hope you had a fantastic Christmas with your loved ones and we welcome you to Term 3.

It was wonderful to see the children dressed so smartly and arriving punctually for their learning.

The whole school will be continuing with our Fortnightly Focus which, for the term, will be the Fruits of the Spirit. The posters around the school will change fortnightly to promote our current focus.

Term 2 was extremely busy with lots of exciting learning happening around Christmas. The Carol concert, written and performed by the children, was a particular highlight; the children wowed us all with their beautiful singing. It was also wonderful to see the children showcasing their learning at the learning gallery and a big thank you to all parents who came to celebrate with us. The whole school held a cultural Christmas market, in which each year group had a stall to promote how different countries celebrated Christmas.

The buzz around the school was electric with all the fantastic memorable experiences and learning opportunities last terms topics enabled. This term is no different! Already classes have enjoyed their WOW days and are fully immersed in their topics- we cannot wait to see the outcomes of all this learning.

Let’s have another incredible term of learning in Term 3.

Lower Key Stage Two Leader
